Senior Developer

90% of the code is in C#, but they are not expecting this candidate to have C# linux programming, but they are looking for a Java linux developer with network programming.

Their product runs linux machines for their customers and before the customer starts using their product they have to set up the networking environment for the product to run... so it would be important to understand or be familiar with how things run into switches and routers, they do not need to know how to configure but it would be a plus if they were familiar.

Top Skills:

Java OO experience

Linux exp, meaning programming in a linux environment

Networking programming experience is very important for this position, it would be good for candidates to know the difference between layer 2 and layer 3 networking levels

Perl dev exp, not CGI scripts or scripting, but OO Perl development

Understanding of how to set up a networking environment

Experience with Internet tools and protocols
